Etienne Greeff is one of the early pioneers of the information security industry who has spent over 20 years promoting the innovative use of technology and services to solve complex customer issues.
As CEO of SecureData, Etienne is dedicated to growing the company’s end-to-end approach; assessing security risks, proactively detecting issues, protecting critical assets and responding quickly to security threats. He is passionate about cementing SecureData’s status as a complete security services provider and aspires to grow the company, both organically and by acquisition, to enhance its existing range of security services.
Having joined the company in 2001, he has overseen its transformation from an $8million business to a circa $50million operation and has a strategy in place to grow the business through the development of proprietary security intelligence alongside innovative technology and expert services.
Prior to SecureData, Etienne has founded, grown and successfully exited a number of information security businesses. He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa with a BSc in Electrical Engineering.
In his role as sales director, Matthew has overall responsibility for managing and directing the company’s sales strategy; playing a vital role in accelerating growth and securing the businesses main contracts. He began his career in the information technology industry by joining technology reseller and integrator, ON Technology where he soon moved in to the company’s security practice. Having worked for a reseller he then joined a vendor before moving to SecureData in December 1997.
Away from security, Matthew graduated with a 1st class degree at Southampton University in Economics and Politics and previously played full-time for two rugby clubs before injury forced an early retirement.
